We started 2nd Saturdays because Christian songwriters needed a room — and their songs needed listeners.
We're a husband-and-wife team based in middle Tennessee. Between us we love good coffee, the craft of a well-written song, and the church.
When we realized how many gifted Christian songwriters live within a half-hour of our front door, we wanted to give them a place to play their songs the way they were written — quietly, story-first, in front of people who came to listen.
Just Love Coffee Cafe in Spring Hill said yes, and we've been gathering on the second Saturday of every month ever since. We also host a sister round, Christian Music Nights, in Columbia.
No cover. No ticket. No fuss. Walk in, order a coffee or a meal, and pull up a chair. The writers are the headliners. The room is theirs.
